Anonymiss of Nuking Politics picked her favorite punchlines to A California School Is Holding a Toy Gun Buyback. You Should Also Turn In…
Click here to see if you made the cut.
If you did, you should probably email Keln about becoming a guest blogger there.
If you didn’t, Anonymiss has got another straight line for you to practice on.
Keep trying. No one likes a quitter.

I’d like to JUDGE her! 😉
Wait. I guess I already have. Her cookies are decicious.
Which did you like best? 🙂
It was a toss-up. They were tossed into…
Oh. The rich and thick and creamy ones!
But they’re all gone now. Cookies don’t last long around here. 🙁
Too many of you eating them? How many are you?
180
pounds.
Hahahaha
Just you then? You ate em up and tend your taters and strawberries and make your pies and flank steak and such all by your self? Lonely. 🙁
Well, there are the Leprechauns, Miss Anony. But they don’t help with the cooking. (The greedy bastids.)
Oh, I got lots growing: asparagus, artichokes, beans, potatoes, squash, broccoli, cabbage (I make sauerkraut), beets, boysenberries, strawberries, apples. However, the spinach is all gone now as it got et.
I’m a veritable, semi-retired, engineering farmer (or farming engineer – depending on the day).
I studied engineering as well 🙂 What kind of engineering do you do when you’re not farming?
Those snotty Leprechauns. Sounds like they need a talking-to. 🙂
I make strawberry jam. Mmmm. Never tried boysenberry jam, but I bet it’d be good. Do you grow pink lady apples? They’re my favorite. 🙂
@8 – You mean “Pink Pearl” apples? Haven’t heard anyone talk about those in years. Mine: “Yellow Transparent” and “Gravenstein.”
Engineering: At this point, only software applications, mainly for atmospheric and oceanographic research. By training: aeronautics & astronautics.
Your turn!
/resume 🙂
get a room!
@10 – I knew someone was going to say that!
@11 – If you do get a room, make sure it’s not 1408:

Anonymiss,
Thank you for picking me. That’s twice, which is twice more than Keln ever has. You can give my cookies to Jimmy. I weigh less than he does, but I’m working on weighing even less.
@13 Iowa Jim, Your line was hilarious, sir. 🙂 I choose the ones that make me laugh out loud. Awesome job! Wait, though. Did you just say you don’t want my cookies??? I’m not sure how I feel about that… 😛
@12 Harvey, you are a snot. I hate haunted-y type scary dark stuff and Stephen King would top that list. Snot. GEEEEEEEEZZZ!!!
@10 blarg, a room? for resume swapping? Geez. I didn’t know that was customary. You and Harvey are BOTH snots.
@9 Jimmy, My degree is in Mechanical engineering. I really enjoyed the nuclear side…but for some reason 🙂 they wouldn’t let me complete my training with the on campus reactor…. Since then, I have undertaken a wide variety of “projects”.
I have never heard of those types of apple. I’ll have to try them sometime. 🙂
@14: I was going to ask about your degree and then blarg told me to get a room, so I backed off!
It sounds like your ME department was a big ‘snot’ for not letting you complete your training on the campus reactor. (The university I attended had one of those, too, but I never saw it. It was run by a combined group of weird physics prof’s and mysterious nuc guys.)
Projects, eh? Yeah, I know about those. And yet you find time to blog AND make cookies.
BTW, blarg, I think IMAO is a nice room!
@14: I didn’t say that I didn’t want your cookies. I simply quite graciously offered them to Jimmy, motivated by the fact that I’m fifteen pounds heavier than I’d like to be, although I’m five pounds lighter than I was in May. I’m not even baking my own cookies, because I eat too many before I give them to my neighbors. If the weather continues good (by Iowa standards, which are a bit different from the standards in Silicon Valley, where I used to live), I’ll be at my target weight in another three month or so, and I’ll feel free to eat cookies.
