I’m confident that at this defining moment, we will prove ourselves worthy of the sacrifice of those who came before us, and the promise of those who will come after.
BARACK OBAMA, weekly address, Mar. 7, 2009
“Meanwhile, I’ll be the one collecting your sacrifices, so pony up, peons.”
The sacrifice of those who came before us? Like the 90 yo WW2 vets who are all going to die soon that you tried to lock out of a place with no doors that was built as a monument to their sacrifice?
What a POS.
I think he was refering to Ayers and Alyinsky.

Do it.
@3: I did.
I liked the politics side of it better than the monetary side, because I understand it better.
I believe Obama mixed that comment up. He meant:
“I’m confident that at this defining moment, we will prove ourselves worthy of the promise from those who came before us, and the sacrifice of those who will come after.”
