This Is Why I Find Liberals Galling

[High Praise! to The Matt Walsh Blog]

And this is where I must stop you, [America-Haters]. Be as thin-skinned, jealous, and spiteful as you like, but you have no right to take someone else’s successes away from them. You have no right to invalidate their achievements. You have no place. You have no standing. You have not the single, slightest damned clue as to what you’re babbling about.
[…]
It is this attitude that I detest. I hate it. I don’t hate you – I hate your attitude. I hate the attitude that leads a person to try and diminish the blood, sweat and tears of the strivers and achievers in our society. I hate the attitude that hates success. To scoff at another’s triumph is about the most anti-American thing you can ever do. You might as well decapitate a Bald Eagle while burning the flag and kissing the Communist Manifesto, because you have officially become the most un-American creature in the galaxy. You are standing on the sidelines and spitting on the people crossing the finish line, and I can’t think of a more detestable hobby than that.

Creative Spam

I was just impressed by this spam comment I got the other day:

Do you have a spam problem on this site; I also am a blogger, and I was curious about your situation; we have developed some nice practices and we are looking to swap strategies with other folks, be sure to shoot me an email if interested.

That’s why I like the spam people; there’s always trying new things and new strategies. If only you had the creativity and innovative spirit of spam.

Obama Warned Us – Poverty

If we neglect or abandon those who are suffering in poverty … not only are we depriving ourselves of potential opportunities for markets and economic growth, but ultimately that despair may turn to violence that turns on us.

BARACK OBAMA, press conference, Apr. 2, 2009

“And to make sure that happens, I’m going to crush the economy and take guns away from law-abiding citizens.”

Single Payer Legal Aid

An idea from Michael Z. Williamson.

To me, lawyers never really fit into a capitalistic society because they don’t make money from their good and services and much as from the government’s ability to use force and impose its whims on people. Should anyone really be getting rich off of the government forcefully making people pay large sums of money?

You’ve Been Judged!

Anonymiss of Nuking Politics picked her favorite punchlines to “Nancy Pelosi Wouldn’t Say What Democrats Would Do If They Regained the House in 2014. Your Prediction?

Click here to see if you made the cut.

If you did, you should probably email Keln about becoming a guest blogger there.

If you didn’t, Anonymiss has got another straight line for you to practice on.

Keep trying. No one likes a quitter.

Random Thoughts: Lies, More Lies, and Obamacare

For the record, we lost the healthcare plan we liked not because it covered too little but because it was too good (worried of Cadillac tax).

So any other presidential lies throughout history as blatant as the “If you like your plan, you can keep it” one?

“Read my lips: No new taxes” seems more like a broken promise than a lie; Bush possible meant it when he said it.

But I am still pretty young, so my presidential memory doesn’t go back very far.

Wow, how’d I forget Clinton. Of course, his lies did not directly affect me.

“If you like your health care plan, you will be able to keep your health care plan. Period.” Needed the “period” for the extra dishonesty.

Now he’s pretending there were lots of qualifiers to that statement, but he made it clear there were none.

How about any future Republican compromise include that Obama must publicly apologize for the lies he used to sell Obamacare to the public.

Maybe Obama speeches should have that guy at the end of prescription drug ads who quickly explains all the side effects.

The sort of lossal failure Obamacare is is the “co” kind.

“You wouldn’t hit a man with Google Glasses, would you?” doesn’t work.

Obama and the Democrats lied about how Obamacare would force people off their plans, and the only way to deny that is more lies.

They flat out knew it wasn’t true but said it anyway to sell their product. Period.

I’m just waiting for the day Marvel can get all of its properties under one movie studio.

I’ll be proud to tell my grandchildren that I wasn’t a part of wasting “first black president” on an incompetent dummy.

Checked out the new Robin Williams sitcom. They’re letting Robin Williams be Robin Williams. I thought modern society learned not to do that.

If you like your lies, you can repeat them.
