There’s a Difference

At a White House press briefing, a reporter asked why we should trust nuclear negotiations with an Iranian leader who chants “death to America”.

Of course he’s trustworthy. It’s not like he’s chanting “lie to America”.

  1. Money quote: ‘And the best way for us to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapons is sitting down at the negotiating table and getting Iran to make very specific commitments that would prevent them from obtaining nuclear weapons.’

    So QA=QC? NO! (If the vendor tells you it meets specification, you don’t need to test it because you trust the vendor, right? What if it’s going in a nuclear power plant, in a critical system, say the nuclear reactor cooling loop. Wouldn’t you double check it?)
