1. Nice.

   Last night’s post got me thinking about Bond opening credits and opening scenes (after which the movie was superficial); and this video shows that at least someone else watched the credits the same way.

John Hartford, musician, singer, songwriter, riverboat pilot, and a man who put everything he had into every note that he played or sang, was born December 30, 1937, in New York City, although he grew up in St.Louis. Here’s a video of John playing, singing, and using his feet to keep rhythm to his best-known song, and, in my opinion, the best song written during my lifetime:
