A new report shows that former President Obama’s Chicago presidential library will cost more than $100 million in state funds, ruin two historic public parks, and force the closure of a major South Side thoroughfare.
Setting a record for the least amount of damage he’s done since January of 2009.

So . . . $100 million from state taxpayers to build? (always a lowball figure)
Do the press say how much it will also cost federal taxpayers to build? (always a lowball figure)
Do they say how much it is projected to cost the state’s taxpayers per year to maintain? (always a lowball figure)
Do they say how much it is projected to cost federal taxpayers per year to maintain? (always a lowball figure)
Do they say whether there will be a yearly honorarium to The Obama Foundation for the rights to the displays and the copyrighted name and image?
Possible rent payments to the owner of the facility — The Obama Foundation?
What? No? They don’t?
How very curious. How very curious.
I wonder why not.
I hope they make him part of the foundation, the Chicago way. WInk wink.
Does the cost include the Obama phone and food stamp dispensers located throughout the building?
