  1. Nope.

Cost Climbs By $2.8 Billion For California Bullet Train
    Associated Press | Jan 16, 2018 | Kathleen Ronayne

Officials increased the cost estimate for the first phase of California’s high speed rail project by 35 percent on Tuesday, to $10.6 billion. That would put the entire cost of the train from San Francisco to Los Angeles at roughly $67 billion, although officials said they hope to recover the newly announced costs later.

  2. Governor Brown (upon reading my post): Wait a minute… there might be legal precedent. Of course! tax- raising!

    [grabs the Democrat Play Book]

Governor Brown: Tax, tax…tax: “See raise!”

    [flips back several pages]

Governor Brown: Ah-ha, California vs. Tax payers. California: 7, Tax Payers: nothing. You see, it can be done!!

    • Governor Brown: [pointing to a member of his cabinet (after jacking up every tax in the state)] I didn’t get a “harrumph” out of that guy!

Lt. Governor Newsom: Give the Governor harrumph!

      Democrat Politician: Harrumph!

Governor Brown: You watch your ass.

        • Generic California taxpayer: Gov. Brown raised taxes again!?? Now what’ll that a**hole think of next?

[turns to fellow Generic California taxpayers]

Generic California taxpayer: Has anybody got a dime?

[Fellow Generic California taxpayers grumble, search their pockets]

Generic California taxpayer: Somebody’s gotta go back to Sacramento and get a sh*t-load of dimes!

  3. The problem is that the Trump Tax Plan is working as intended.Up until now anytime Sacramento felt like raising taxes, taxpayers could push it off onto the fed. No more. Even worse, they already have a value added tax on lumber and paint, and they just raised the state gas tax, and raised car registration fees. My car costs $180 a year, and my work truck costs $350. They quite seriously are quickly running out of gimmicks to soak the taxpayers.
