This song reminds me of when my son’s Cub Scout den spent the night on the Battleship Texas. He went to the bathroom in the middle of the night and came back a little freaked out.
Later that night I went to the restroom too and passed by a lighted display of “life at sea in the 30s-40s” and the soundtrack was playing Midnight the Stars and You. Then I understood what unsettled him. Even though he’d never seen The Shining, the whole setting on an empty ship with that song was just a little too much.
