Several days back, there was a discussion about the song “Singin’ in the Rain” and some were surprised to see just how old it really was. Most people know it from the 1952 movie, and while some knew it wasn’t written for that film, few know it was actually from the 1920s.
The song’s earliest film appearance was from 1929’s “The Hollywood Revue.”
So what’s been on your mind? Got something you’d like to discuss? It’s Wednesday Night Open Thread, and you have the floor.
Who wants to start?

I liked that. That was rather entertaining. Thank you for posting it. Now…on to tonight’s history lesson………..

Today Nancy Pelosi said President Trump is guilty of conducting a cover-up, but she never said what he covered up. I don’t think it should work that way. Nope, I think if you are going to accuse someone of something you should be specific about what it is you’re accusing them of. For example, if you don’t say what he covered up how can we…the great unwashed…know he covered it up….whatever it was?
I think that for the Liberals the cover up probably includes his getting dressed in the morning. Filthy rich guy that he is.
