UPI | Nov. 18, 2020 | Ben HooperNov. 18 (UPI) — An Indonesian man turned an unusual bit of property damage into a fortune when he sold the meteorite that crashed through his roof for over $1 million.
Josua Hutagalung, 33, said he was working outside his home in Sumatra when the meteorite crashed through the roof of the house and landed outside.
“When I lifted it, the stone was still warm, and I brought it into the house,” Hutagalung told news outlet Kompas.

The 4.5-pound chunk of CM1/2 carbonaceous chondrite, a rare variety of meteorite, was valued at $1,858,556 by experts and attracted the attention of U.S. expert Jared Collins, who purchased the meteorite and resold it to fellow U.S. collector Jay Piatek.

Entertainment Industry Workers Exempt From California Governor Gavin Newsom’s New Stay-At-Home Order
Deadline | November 19, 2020 | Tom Tapp
In light of an unprecedented rapid rise in COVID-19 cases across California, Gov. Gavin Newsom on Thursday announced a limited stay-at-home order.
The order requires “generally that non-essential work, movement and gatherings stop between 10 PM and 5 AM in counties in the purple tier.”
That means basically every county in Southern California and 94% of the state’s population.
But Newsom’s office told Deadline on Thursday that the order did not apply to entertainment industry workers, who are on the list of essential workers and thus an exception to the rule.
The governor’s original Stay-at-Home order from March includes the following passage, which still applies:
In accordance with this order, the State Public Health Officer has designated the following list of Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers to help state, local, tribal, and industry partners as they work to protect communities, while ensuring continuity of functions critical to public health and safety, as well as economic and national security.
On that list of exemptions, under “Industrial, Commercial, Residential, and Sheltering Facilities and Services,” there is essential worker designation 15 which reads, “Workers supporting the entertainment industries, studios, and other related establishments, provided they follow covid-19 public health guidance around physical distancing.”
The guidance does indicate this exemption only applies if remote work is not possible, but with film and TV production it is often not.
Film and TV production employees were not included on the essential workers list during the first California shutdown in March. Their addition to the list speaks to the success and strong protocols on set since then.

4th Georgia County Finds Memory Card With Uncounted Votes, Most for Biden
Epoch Times | 11/19/2020 | Zachary StieberA fourth county in Georgia discovered a memory card with uncounted votes during a hand audit, officials said on Nov. 18.
Unlike in the other three instances, the uncounted ballots in Douglas County included a higher proportion for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden rather than President Donald Trump.
“They did their hand count and they realized they had more ballots than they had votes put into the election management system. They went back and audited and realized, ‘we forgot to upload one memory card from one precinct,’” Gabriel Sterling, the state’s voting systems manager, told reporters during a virtual briefing.
On the card were 156 votes for Biden, 128 votes for Trump, seven for Libertarian nominee Jo Jorgensen, and two others.
Taking into account all the uncounted ballots found during the audit, Biden’s lead over Trump dropped to 12,781 from 14,156.
Sterling also acknowledged that a recount monitor caught a 9,626-vote error but dismissed it as “a non-event.”
“But it does help stir the pot to a degree, which is unfortunate, and this is why you don’t release interim audit results, because it can be confusing for people from the outside looking in,” he said.

New footage reveals Netflix faked walrus climate deaths
Aletho News | 11/19/2020 | Susan CrockfordLondon, 19 November: In a GWPF video released today, Dr. Susan Crockford, a Canadian wildlife expert, provides new evidence that the 2019 Netflix documentary film series, ‘Our Planet’, withheld facts behind the controversial walrus story it promoted as evidence of climate change.
If there was ever any doubt that polar bears, not climate change, were the cause of walrus falling to their deaths from a rocky cliff in Siberia a few years ago, new evidence presented here seals the deal: a Russian photographer has released independent video of the event that clearly shows polar bears driving walrus over the cliff to their deaths.
In 2019, a sequence in the Netflix documentary ‘Our Planet’ showed a highly disturbing piece of footage of several walruses bouncing off sharp rocks as they fell from a high cliff to their deaths. It transpired this event happened in late September 2017 at a well-known walrus haulout at Cape Schmidt on the Chukchi Sea.
Narrator Sir David Attenborough blamed the tragedy on climate change, insisting that lack of summer sea ice due to climate change was to blame for the walrus falling to their deaths without provocation. A few months later, however, using some of the same walrus footage, Attenborough’s BBC series called ‘Seven Worlds, One Planet’ featured a number of polar bears driving walrus off the very same cliff. It was damning evidence that the ‘Our Planet’ account of walrus deaths had been a false narrative constructed to elicit an emotional response from the public.
New independent video footage of the same event shot by Russian photographer Yevgeny Basov corroborates the BBC evidence that polar bears drove the walrus over the cliff. Basov is a friend of Netflix ‘science advisor’ Anatoly Kochnev and was apparently invited to observe the commercial filming.
