Where do you stand?

Last week’s Best Version results. Looks like we are Olde School types.

This poll is no longer accepting votes

Which do you think is the best version of King Kong?

Looks like the Germans bombing Pearl Harbor has not had the desired effect. So heading to the uncelebrated holidays we have an election poll. Remember Al Gore didn’t concede until December… and Hillary never did.

This poll is no longer accepting votes

Should Trump concede?

Have a nice weekend!

Trump:

You’re varmints. You’re one of the lowest members of the food chain and you’ll probably be replaced by the rat. Well, I have been pushed. It’s about time somebody teaches these varmints a little lesson about morality and about what it’s like to be a decent, upstanding member of a society! Come to court, varmints.

{Watches news:}

I guess we’re playing for keeps now. I guess the kidding around is pretty much over. I guess it’s just a matter of pumping about five thousand gallons of cold water on your plans to teach you a little bit of a lesson. Is that it? I think it is!!

…

I have to laugh. Because I’ve often asked myself: Who is my foe, my enemy? Antifa. In order to conquer him I have to think like an animal, and, whenever possible, to look like one. I’ve got to get inside this dude’s pelt and crawl around for a few days. Who is the loafer’s ally? His friend? The media squirrel and Congressional rabbit. I’m going to use you guys to do my dirty work for me!

Au revoir, law-fare!

Letter Home

To Relatives Back in Kraplanistan:

Things going wonderfully here in America! But there is an election being elected.

Strange old loud determined man is president until determination.

Very corrupt, strange old gropey white-haired man who speaks bad English may win. Nobody likes him. Nobody understands him. Nobody can say they voted for him; nobody expects him to remain. Shapely strident woman no one likes would then take over for him. She has, as we say in our country, mouth.

No one would believe in her or whatnot. She kept black men in jail knowing they are innocent, to boost her career.

She has, as we say in our country, career boosts. You know what I mean.

You think I joke, but that is how things are in America. How are things in superior Kraplanistan?

Oh, by the way, they cannot here even control who votes … whether citizen; where ballots mailed in come from … at 3:00 a.m., after voting has closed … whether ballots run through machine multiple times or not, no … what programs that controlled computers doing counting on software can’t even be checked. Can you imagine?!! We know how many goats are in our district in the spring better than they know how many votes are in their district in the fall — and we know instantly. In some places they are still counting two weeks later. Nprovya!

Wrong Kind of Moon Nuke, Guys

NASA Wants To Build A Nuclear Plant On The Moon
OilPrice.com | Nov 16, 2020 | Irana Slav

NASA is planning to build a base and a nuclear power plant on the Moon by 2026 and is inviting proposals from companies ready to take on the challenge.

The plan will involve the construction of a 10-kW class fission surface power system to be used for demonstrative purposes.

As Hiroshima was?

The plant is to be manufactured and assembled on Earth and then shipped to the Moon on a launch vehicle.

This vehicle will take the plant to Moon orbit, from where a lander will take it to the surface of the satellite.

The demonstration will continue for one year, and if successful, it could open the door to other missions on both the Moon and Mars.

The Moon’s resources, although unproven, have been the topic of conversation for quite some time.

… at least, at the parties we attend.

Over the last decade or so, several lunar missions have sprung up, seeking to explore the Earth’s natural satellite for minerals and hydrogen.

The nuclear power plant demonstrator will have the capacity to run for 10 years, according to plans, with its generation capacity enough to power the equivalent of three to four large households.

I’m sceptical. Everything about this sounds like it sprung from someone’s imagination — including the author’s name.

The Mistake They Made Was In Having the Department of Motor Vehicles Not Only Register Voters, But Count Them Too

‘New York is Such a Train Wreck’: Big Apple Election Debacle Sparks Outrage as 40% of Manhattan Ballots Remain Uncounted

Mediaite | 11/16/2020 | Ken Meyer

While most jurisdictions have just about finished tabulating 2020 Election results, many observers are highly unimpressed that it’s taking New York City so long to count every ballot.

The New York Times released their latest look at the election data from the state and found that only 84 percent of the estimated vote total has been processed, and there is a large fraction of outstanding votes in multiple counties.

By the Times’ estimation, only 56 percent of the votes have been reported from Westchester county, 60 percent from Manhattan, 64 percent in Queens, and 74 percent in the Bronx. The Atlantic’s Derek Thompson noted that this data comes nearly two weeks after Election Day.
