2. • Perhaps the reason Obama is having such a touch time in West Virginia and Kentucky is that he was campaigning in Cape Girardeau, Missouri today. Sharp geography students will note that Cape Girardeau, Missouri is not even in West Virginia or Kentucky.
   • Another reason for his abject failure in West Virginia and Kentucky is Obama doesn’t do well in states where most people have jobs. He does best in states such as North Carolina and Mississippi, in which most people vote for people who will get other people to do that for them.
   • Also, there’s not enough brie and white whine in those two states to keep his campaign staff fed.

7. Funny is ipso facto not pointless. Every morning, I come here and I find funny, and I feel much better. I feel good if I felt bad when I came here, and I feel even better if I felt pretty good when I came here. I consider that to be about the most important point that anybody could make. I’m sure that, had IMAO been around when Waylon Jennings wrote “Luckenbach, Texas”, the first line would have included IMAO as one of the things that make life worth living.

8. Oh, I think Frank J.’s regard for reality is just the opposite of “whimsical,” hitnrun. There is always method to the madness here! And I agree with Silicon Vally Jim. So, Frank, charge your batteries and gear up for the whackiest convention season and general election in history!

9. I’m always amazed at people who don’t appreciate teh funny or irony or sarcasm of a site but continue to visit it. I personally find the Daily Kossack hysterical but I don’t go there often because it also is one day going to cause me to go into a seizure.
   Of course troll baiting and hunting is soooooo much fun that I wouldn’t want all of them to go away. I know, I know, please don’t feed the trolls, but they’re so hungry and I hate for anyone to leave the table hungry.
