An AP poll shows that now less than 50% of people want Obama to be reelected. So, do you think the fact that Obama is a useless incompetent is finally starting to harm his popularity?
I thought that was already factored in when he was elected (what do you expect from someone who had a made-up job like “community organizer”?), but maybe people have changed their minds and decided they don’t want someone who has absolutely no idea what he’s doing in the highest office of the land.

If the economy had rebounded on its own, he would be wildly popular right now. I doubt that most people understand that Obama’s hopelessly incompetent fiscal policies and wild spending are actively preventing a rebound, but even the people who don’t believe he’s making it worse are starting to realize he isn’t making it better, either.
I personally believe Obama will be hard to beat. He will have the majority of the media slanting the news in his favor, he will receive millions from the unions and other left wing entities, and he will be fighting a somewhat divided Republican party. Even if the left is upset because he didn’t close Gitmo or give the terrorists access to the federal court system they’ll still support him because he’s all they’ve got right now. I hope he loses if for no other reason that I don’t want him to have the opportunity to make another selection to the Supreme Court. I think it all depends, if the various factions of the electorate who are anti Obama can set aside their differences and hang together…otherwise he’s going to hang them (and us) separately.

I think so many polling companies have lost credibility, that they actually have to turn out honest polls until closer to the actual election, when they can once again, tilt things barry’s way.

As I’ve mentioned elsewhere, I no longer buy the “useless incompetent” explanation of Obama.
And the people who voted for Obama who now conclude he doesn’t know what he’s doing… don’t know what they’re doing, anyway. I suppose if we could trick them into voting for someone who does know what they’re doing, that would be a good thing.
In 2008 Democrats (and too many Republicans) were thinking like a woman getting married to guy with a lot of rough edges – they know he isn’t perfect but they figure that time and her love will make everything work out.
Two and a half years later her loveable bad-boy no better – he’s worse. He’s managed to ruin her finances and credit rating. He’s made no attempt to improve himself – with the single exception of his golf game. His attempt to placate her with sweet-talk rings more hollow every day. In her heart she knows she made a bad choice. But she is loath to admit it even her closest friends. Still, this can’t go on. There’s no one else that she is interested in. No, she won’t leave him for someone else. She’ll just leave.
I never thought he had a chance the first time he was so astoundingly unqualified. Now after seeing him do the job I know he is astoundingly incompetent.
But somehow he got elected once.
The public is fickle. The liberal press sweeps all the ugly legislation behind the curtain, all the dirty politics, all the errors under the rug for all DemoncRats. DemoncRats are Excellent in voter fraud. They are ruthless, lying hypocrits….. That said….I pray each day for my country that people wake up and smell the dirt. I pray that they spend as much time researching candidates as they do choosing a car or vacuumn cleaner. I pray that a strong conservative candidate comes to the forefront and people wake up and run to vote for a real conservative. Wake up America !

Another way to make liberals heads explode: get them to tell you how super smart Obama is and then say, ok, then he’s destroying the economy on purpose, right? Either he’s stupid and has no idea what he’s doing or he’s really really smart and he’s doing it on purpose. Since they aren’t programed to say he’s stupid, they will self destruct before they will make the logical conclusion that it has to be one or the other.
Sometimes it seems like it would be fun to party with the kids, however, when things go wrong everyone wants an adult in charge. America is starting to realize we need to put grown-ups back in the White House.

As a former Illinois resident (Yay, job transfer!) I tried to warn people that Obama was mediocre at best when he was safely confined there, but did they listen? Not even a little bit. Everyone I know is an imbecile.
