$130 million movie on how the Iraq War is bad? How was that not a good investment?

With all the debate on Iraq, I guess people aren’t really clamoring to pay for more input from movie actors and directors.

Did punk kids in the fifties wear their fedoras sideways?

I’m sure Green Zone will make up the money in merchandising, like the McDonald’s Happy Meals tie-ins.

Just imagine the money they would have saved if they had only taken the video of the famous crying Indian and photoshopped the word “Iraq” onto his face.

There were no punk kids until shortly before Vietnam. Back in the old days, you could tell a punk from birth, and you treated him as the Spartans treated their weaklings.

You’re short sighted, Frank. Who will make our license plates?

Live free or die. Under Obamacare it is Die and Live Free, I prefer Live and Let Die.

How about a Sean Penn, Danny Glover Cindy Shehann, or Matt Damon Pez dispenser in every Happy Meal? Or do they give tiny Kool-aid buckets with the aforementioned idiots on them? Ohh yeah !!

I am waiting for ther Green Zone sequel…”Saddam Hussien, Man of Hope, Man of Change”.

I’m not sure about the 50s, but in earlier decades they turned them inside out and cut them up.

Jughead’s hat for instance was that style.

    And decrease the surplus population.

    I’m thinking of the 52%.

They wore stingy-brim porkpies; It’s hard to tell whether a porkpie is on straight or sideways.

If the Americans were the good guys for a change in Hollywood, people would be.

What is really sad is to look at the styles they imagined us wearing today back in the fifties, compared to the pants around the ankles, hat on sideways, thug look that is actually popular. The only thing they got right was that a lot women would dress like sluts.

In the 50′s they couldn’t have imagined people today wearing their caps sideways, ’cause it would have ruined our aerodynamics when using our rocket belts.

Leo Gorcy did sort of push the front brim of his hat up and pushed the sides down, that’s sort of wearing it sideways. The Bowery Boys were sort of the NY Proto-Punks.
