Mitch presents: “Obama’s New Show: Obama Time, Featuring George Bush”
Wait for it…
Take a hippie-punch at fame by creating your own IMAO-worthy video at Xtranormal (“If you can type, you can make movies“). Send a link to harvolson-at-gmail.com and I’ll give it a look. If it isn’t obscene (IMAO is a PG-13 site) and it doesn’t suck too terribly bad, I’ll post it and let the readers throw roses and/or tomatoes at you.
If you think this whole health care debate has been going on forever, here’s a good demonstration of that. It’s like this is never going to end, and the Democrats are always going to hang it over our heads, just a few votes away from passing.
Unless we decimate their majorities in November. Yay motivation!
In a scientific study (using Science!), it is demonstrated that when people buy green products and help the environment, they tend to be lax in other areas and are more likely to then cheat and steal. Doesn’t that explain liberals?
Basic lesson: All systems of morality aren’t interchangeable. With Christianity, when I do something good for someone, I don’t think that means I can now get away with lying to someone else. But in the fuzzy-headed world of being a greenie, it’s just some zero-sum game, I guess. Look at all the liberals in Congress and how easy they find it to lie about their intentions toward health care (“This isn’t about a government takeover.”); they feel the lying is okay because they’re doing good. If you don’t have a system of belief with a strong foundation, it’s very easy to wing it on what makes you feel good at the moment.
The Census is coming out soon. We all should have gotten a letter telling us to expect the Census in a week (you don’t ever want to surprise someone with a Census letter!). As always, all the kooks are worried about the government collecting all this information as an invasion of privacy, but I’ve seen the questions on it, and it’s all pretty boilerplate.
CENSUS QUESTIONS
“How many people are in your household? (NOTE: For purposes of allotting federal funds, whites count as three-fifths of a person)”
“Does any member of your household suffer from mental illness, had a recent psychological break, or listen to Glenn Beck?”
“If the feds were to storm your home, from which entrance are you most vulnerable?”
“Do you approve of President Obama? If not, how long have you been a member of the Klan?”
“Do you find Obama to be presidential? What if he wore an important-looking hat?”
“What’s your deepest, darkest fear?”
“How many guns do you have, where do you keep them, and what times are you most likely to not be home?”
“Are you a member of the Tea Party? Follow Up Question: Would you be less alarmed about being rounded up and sent to a camp if you were told the camp had canoeing and wallet-making?”
“Are you for health care reform? What if Rahm Emmanuel poked you while you were naked?”
A poll says that people think the United States is less respected in the world than two years ago. Kinda strange since everyone loves Obama. Well, maybe it’s like how everyone loves a puppy, but that doesn’t mean you’ll have great confidence in a company when they make a puppy its CEO.
On a similar note, here’s the Obama doll:
It’s the birth of hope. Who knows what he’ll grow up to be? Astronaut, doctor, community organizer… anything is possible when you have hope. Frankly, I’d rather have cute little baby Obama than regular Obama: Even more likable, and no noticeable drop in ability to lead. Rahm will just have to be even more careful not to swear in front of the president.
Tiny tupperware containers actually enrage me. My wife has me put away a big pot of leftovers, and all I can find are containers meant to store the unused portion of a ketchup packet. Why do tiny plastic containers exist and why do we have so many of them? Is it for any other reason than to mock me?
If you ever have to fight humans remember that they are vulnerable to fire.
Other ways to kill humans: silver bullets, wooden stake to the heart, decapitation, extreme cold
Despite attacks, Iraq voting turnout was 62%. MTV must have had a really good “Rock the Vote” campaign there.
So what should we spend the huge savings from Obamacare on? I’m going with pixie dust.
If we don’t tell the census our race, what happens? If they don’t know there are lots of white people in Idaho, will that affect mayo supplies?
If Jim from the Office is going to play Captain America, then Dwight should be the Red Skull.
The director of Captain America is going to have to roll up a newspaper and whap Krasinski every time he mugs to the camera.
Won’t the Red Skull be angry when he sits down to write out his evil plans and finds his stapler in jello?
I don’t see a problem with the government keeping a database of our name, DOB, hair color, eye color, DNA, and darkest fears.
