I’ve found the single biggest depository of nuts, the Democratic Underground, especially entertaining to watch after the CBS forgery scandal. Crazy old coot Dan Rather has become a folk hero to them while other media is just a wing of the RNC. To be fair, there are a few who admit the documents are probably faked (and are angrily attacked), which makes their opinion on the forged documents a bit more enlightened than CBS news.
Anyway, I found this person arguing that this is a win/win situation for Democrats especially notable. How far-gone from rational thought can you be?
And the sad thing is these people think they’re smarter than everyone else… or is that the funny thing? I sometime get those two confused.

Hey, Frank, you forget that it’s the DU you’re talking about. These aren’t damn, dirty apes – they’re nowhere near that evolved. Try “rats”, or maybe “plague viruses” – I don’t really know what would have the same ring, but there has to be something…cows?

It struck me as odd that the DU claims to be a “Big Tent” place that wants to include all different points of views. Then they immediately say they will ban all conservative supporters. Bunch of hypocrites!
I did not click the link. I don’t have time to read a fully-louco Democrat’s reasoning, just like I don’t have time (or UPS money) to read Kerry’s treatise on whether the war is right or wrong. Democrats are incapable of being concise, yet another example of “by their fruits ye shall know them.”

CBS needs only to produce a similar looking memo made from an IBM Selectric. Just one example and they would have enough proof to at least argue.
The fact they haven’t even tried (nor any of their “blinded by idiocy” supporters) speaks volumes.
DU is pretty much a website that shows what I’ve long felt–The Left is one of the most biggoted, racist, intolerent, violent, elitist and truly ignorant groups of humans I’ve ever had to deal with.
I know this would normally be illegal, except I was doing it as a friend of the court for the competency hearing— I TAPED a segment of Dan Rather’s on-camera performance.
When the tape is played backwards, you can hear a voice distinctly saying “Take off your tinfoil beanies, democrats, and lean closer to the tv set so the rays can be more effective…”

I made the mistake of scrolling to the top of that DU thread… it was like driving past a train wreck. I couldn’t stop reading until I got to the bottom, and parts of it made me laugh and parts made me want to just scream.
As I’m reading, one of my co-workers comes into my office who is a definite left winger… he starts badmouthing the DU as well. hmmmmm… when they start eating their own young……??
Now I will have to go back, because it’s kind of like watching a monkey fu#$ing a football. It’s fun to watch, but not a lot is getting accomplished–..

If you want amusement and enlightenment, read the DU rules page. It is absolutley hilarious. You are not allowed to be anti-atheist or anti-religious. I’d pay a dollar to watch someone try that one on. They’ve got a mile long page of rules for their rotten little site. Seems to be set up like they would like to run the world, minute rules for everything (might be mostly there now come to think of it). And for a “big-tent” “inclusive” site, there sure a lot of bodies littering the landscape (deleted posts). Has anybody here or any of the other good sites had to read any rules or do we just exist like rational people?
Are all Democrats as hateful? Do they all want everyone who doesn’t agree with them dead? How can they get away with calling conservatives Nazis when it was the Nazis who silenced all dissent? And other tyrants like Stalin, Saddam? My oldest daughter was married two years ago, and our son-in-law is an “independent” but his parents are liberal Democrats. Even though we live in the same city, they will not socialize with us, because we are Republicans, and they hate us because they are sure we are eeeevil. But they know nothing about us, and talk trash about us to our daughter. We would NEVER DREAM of treating them that way. Are they completly blind to their ugly hate they spew?
