Wouldn’t it be cool if Dan Rather suddenly got so pissed off about the forged memos that he turned vigilante, hunting down the source of the forgeries with shotgun in hand? Then, after finding him, he breaks the guys kneecaps in a live broadcast. Rather would regain so much credibility if he did that. It’s certainly what I would do if I were Rather… and not a partisan shill.
But Rather’s current strategy of non-apology apologies and still pretending there is anything left to his made up story works too, I guess.

First, Shotgun Dan? nah, I like Baghdad Dan better LOL
That’s about as likely as Kerry finally deciding what side is he on in the Iraq war. His level of flip-flopping makes most voters wince. It makes me physically ill.
Dan’s a firm believer in the canon of the Left; guns are a no-no because guns kill people, not the guy pulling the trigger. Plus, he’d have to shoot himself
nah… that’s just an artsy way of passing the buck.
He should guillotine himself
I think he’s doing just fine. He probably hasn’t slept since this thing blew. I almost can’t sleep from all the exitement. I haven’t enjoyed this much entertainment since Shields and Yarnell were on TV.
I must agree with jonag, TV has actually become fun to watch again, waiting to see who will squirm on the hook next!

“Hunting down the source of the forgeries”???? Dan???? Puleeeeeeze. Maybe he can get John Kerry to do it. About every day there is a story or picture of Kerry with a gun in his hands. Unfortunately he looks about ready to shoot himself most of the time. (Unfortunately? HMMMMMMMM)
Of course if you go on the NRA’s website you will see what a crock that is…. He’s another anti gun nut.
Anyway Frank, don’t you think Dan would be man enough for your 1911’s? I doubt it too. (I’m a wussy 9 mil guy myself, but I have some nasty loads for the Glock).
