WOOHOOO for the Firefly movie! It’s gonna be SWEET!
And a hearty heh! for the reference David Ross made. That was one of the best lines! :o)
Speaking of which, here’s a couple of my favorites…
Jayne: (mock reading Simon’s journal) “Dear Diary…today I was pompous and my sister was crazy.” (flips page) “Today, we were kidnapped by hill folk never to be seen again. It was the best day ever.”
Harrow: “You have to finish it, lad. You have to finish it. For a man to lay beaten… and yet breathing? It makes him a coward.”
Inara: “It’s humiliation.”
Mal: “Sure. It would be humiliating. Having to lie there while the better man refuses to spill your blood. Mercy is the mark of a great man. (lightly stabs Atherton with the sword) Guess I’m just a good man. (stabs him again) Well, I’m all right.”
Mr. Frankford J-erson III, you better get on your old lady about this. I mean, it’s only 14 episodes, and they’re (almost) all brilliant. Let’s get our act together, gang.

Oh come ON, FireFly sucked! I remember when it… uh… sees the CafePress girl what was I saying? Oh, yeah, I was flamebaiting. Never mind.
I actually haven’t see the FireFly series yet. Good; now I have until September before I’m left waiting for the DVD version which I’ll have to buy from Amazon UK because there’s about the same chance it’ll get released in theathers over here without a disgusting and revilesome dubbing as there is for me to end this run-on sentence without an exclamation mark!
Firefly is awesome. I still can’t understand why the show ran for only one season. I just bought it on dvd because I liked it so much; it is the only tv show (current or former) that I have ever felt the need to buy. Just awesome.

It’s the curse of the sci-fi shows that start with F. Farscape, Futurama, Firefly, The Flash (okay, that last one sucked, but come on, work with me here). If only Joss Whedon had called it “Lightning Bug”, it might still be on the air.
