Spelling aside, Bernie Sanders is the independent, a socialist only with a small ‘s’; Joe’s a “Connecticut for Lieberman” Party member. So the ‘O’ is for “other.”

Remember, most of the Republican Senators are the same ones that have been there for years. Many of them pansy-out on voting conservative. Technically the Dems already had a majority in the Senate.
Fortunately for Nebraska, even though Pete Ricketts (whose father owns TDAmeritrade) lost, Nelson is pretty much a DINO. He voted for BOTH Alito and Roberts. I can live with that.
