INACTION ALERT: This Is an Inaction Alert

INACTION ALERT! INACTION ALERT!
I decided that action alerts just weren’t working for me. Anyway, we’re conservatives and have jobs and useful things to do, so why not instead have inaction alerts. With everyone–especially the always hysterical liberals–freaking out about everything, I think what this country needs is a strong call to inaction. Ignoring something or someone is the highest for of dominance, anyway. So let’s all calm down and go about our daily business unless something explodes.

Yes. Exactly. It’s been said before, but it’s impossible to say it too often.
Back in 2000 or so, when I worked in the workers’ paradise of San Francisco, I was having lunch in a little dive on Market Street (I think that it was meatloaf that day, which is a dish that you don’t encounter very often in SF), when down Market Street came a demonstration in favor of a free Eritrea. The first thing that came to my mind was “Don’t these people have jobs? If they did, they would realize that their jobs are more important than Eritrea.” The second thought was “You know, you could probably buy Eritrea for about the price of a two-bedroom home in San Francisco. If these folks would just get jobs, they could buy Eritrea and free it.”

  2. Silicon Valley Jim,
You should have started a “Find Eritrea” counterdemonstration.
Most of those protest idiots couldn’t find it on a map. Wouldn’t know a damned thing about it anyway, and wouldn’t have the slightest idea what they were freeing it from. Hell, most of them were just along for the dope party at the end of the demo.

  3. “””Inaction? Hey that’s just how the Bush administration let 9/11 happen. What was the name of that PDB? Bin Laden determined to attack inside the United States. Nah, nothin to worry about.

Living proof that stupid people should not be allowed to breed

Oh yeah, because with Karl Roves mind powers, bush should have obviously known that determined to attack in U.S. actualy means determined to fly commercial planes into buildings. I know that you’re a troll, but could you at least be slightly logical with your statements?

  5. I’m fascinated by the psychotic way some people look at the President. First they say that he’s the dumbest president ever, then they go into this involved, complex Machiavellian scenario. They say he should have known what Bin Laden was going to do- before he did it. With what, his mind reading super powers or maybe his super hearing. I know he can see into the future. But how can this be, you told us before he doesn’t even know how to read, or even think for himself. The evil Rove is the puppet master…right.
Don’t you people get tired of jumping to conclusions, leaping off the deep end, going over the top and backpeddling. With this kind of exercise you ought to be in great shape!

  6. Good idea, Frank, but you’re too late.
Last month, the Procrastinators of America (motto: Never put off until tomorrow that which you can put off until the day after tomorrow) started Inaction Alerts three years ago.
It may be hard to tell, however, since no one has not acted on one yet, we’re still waiting until it’s absolutely necessary.
