It Takes a Village

I think the lesson here is that if you don’t teach your children respect for other people’s property, the electrical engineer next door will do it with electricity.

  1. LOL, that was hilarious! Just one problem, the little sh!t didn’t get knocked to the ground so the juice wasn’t set high enough. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want any “permanent” damage to the little tike, but a 50,000 Volt pulse generator (electric fence type for large animals) would have sent a much more convincing message…. and beside, the YouTube footage would have been awesome.

  2. I know that my son has never walked by a sign he didn’t want to take apart and look at how it was put together. Totally reasonable excuse. Shame on that man for protecting his property!

*Damn that was hard to write*

I LOVED IT! I want that guy to come here and wire up some things on my porperty so I can shock people just for my own personal enjoyment.

  3. Yeah, I guess if the dad is dumb enough to vote for Obama, he’s also dumb enough to think that someone will believe him when a kid shows up with an Obama sign and is caught in someone’s yard tugging on a McCain sign.

Perhaps this will serve as an inspiration for other McCain supporters who are sick of having their signs stolen.

You know, no matter what happens Tuesday, we can all look back on lil’ ole’ Sparky O’Dumb@ss and smile knowingly to ourselves.

  4. My father did essentially the same thing when I was young. ( not to me! ) … There was this insolent little **** that would cut across our small town property. My father was a 300 lbs gorilla so it was kind of goofy this jackass kept doing it after he strongly suggest he stop. So the old man trotted out the model T ford coil. This is bugzapper grade. It wakes you up when you touch it and I know from experience because it was impossible to resist diddling with it. The old man wired up a superfine copper wire across the path of this gomer. Next time he strode the property was the last. He learned his lesson.

  5. “Sheriff Lindy Pendergrass said he doesn’t plan to file charges.”

against who?? the little bastard was trespassing not to mention all sorts of “civil rights” type crap that we’d all be hearing about if the situation was reversed.
    It was a HATE CRIME!
That kid should do time and so should his “parents”.

but instead, I bet the guy sues him, sad.

    The double standard grows.

Funny, I see nothing about anyone being arrested when it’s Sarah Palin.

  6. Yeah, #16, and the aeronautical engineer builds vehicle systems to deliver your precious payloads to those targets.

So, ah…. can we do this?

A mechanical engineer would have blown the kid up.
A chemical engineer would have poisoned the turkey.
A aeronautical engineer would have buzzed his head with a rocket.
A nuclear engineer would have irradiated the snot.

(There are just no kids at my door tonight and House isn’t on yet.)

  7. I would have gotten away with it if it wasn’t for that meddling engineer!

Was the kid going to replace the McCain sign with that Obama sign he was dragging along, or was he just going from yard to yard pulling up all the signs? (Which would make him an equal-opportunity vandal).

Or was dear old dad just out of view of the camera saying, “Go ahead, son. Pull up that war-mongering racist b*st*rds sign! No one will ever know! That’ll teach him what we think of the 1st ammendment in This neighborhood!”
