It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Laurence Simon here, but he sent me his vote in Texas via Blackberry:
I do hope that Fred Thompson becomes the chair of the RNC. That would be awesome. And his wife, Jeri, should run for office. I can just tell she would kick ass and be a go for the throat conservative.
Actually, with Fred Thompson as chair and Jeri and Sarah Palin as two prominent Republican, we’re just one attractive female candidate away from having our own version of Charlie’s Angels.
SarahK is the obvious third angel.
I wish I lived in a state that wasn’t going to be so closely split so that I could justify casting a protest vote.
Laurence wouldn’t tell us who he voted for on his blog, so, ah, I’m having trouble believe that.
Watching what little of the coverage I could stand, it was truly a national crappy bedtime story for all.
And we get to wake up to the nightmare for a long, long time.
