Some fruit loop is using the octuplets fiasco to argue we must have a ban on having children for five years. If these over-population nutters believe in the cause of reducing human population so strongly, they should totally commit mass suicide. That would get people’s attention.
We need to encourage this kind of enlightened thinking. We should loudly express our admiration for such a courageous call to action, and offer our support in every way to help him with population reduction. The primary benefits are:
1.) The leftist wingnuts will go nuts for this, and film themselves on YouTube pledging to support the planet by sterilizing themselves. Our problem will be solved in one generation.
2.) We offer to begin de-population solutions starting on the West Coast, given their population densities, potential for damage to the Pacific Ocean, and being ground zero for illegal immigration. If we get organized and focused, we can gitterdun in about 2.5 years.

It’s pretty much a known fact that high tech societies have insufficient birthrates, particularly Japan and Europe, but also the US. (Russia doesn’t either, but who cares?). Most social programs will collapse under the conbined weight of the elderly and islamics (in Europe) or hispanics (in the US). Note that islamist are breeding like crazy because they are aware they can just move in once Europe has killed itself.
We also ban imports of food from many countries because it would lower prices for our domestic producers, which is clearly a sign of too much food, not too little.
The only positive side is that there wouldn’t be any more little liberal larve named “Barrack” until after he’s made it clear he’s an idiot to the vast majority of Americans. So that’s something.

Lets require more women to undergo fertility treatments and have 4 to 8 babies.
Think of the economic boom in formula, pampers, cribs,clothing, etc. ; the construction boom in new schools, playgrounds, etc.;

Aside from the notion that many scientists hold- that the earths population will probably top out at around 8 billion- there’s no reason to believe that we’re going to “run out” of resources. We have been revolutionizing the way we produce & utilize what is available to us in better ways than we could’ve dreamed of even just 30 years ago. Despite the rise in global population, less people suffer from famine than ever. What does that say?
