Be careful what you say about Iran today, because it may be the president’s position a week later.

Do you think al Qaeda’s members sometimes slip up and call Osama bin Laden “Obama”?

Not to spread more rumors, but I was in Argentina and I didn’t see Sanford anywhere.

Are we going to have to spend the next four years dragging Obama kicking and screaming to do the right thing in every crisis?

Can the nearest adult to the White House please takeover?

Re-thinking that we should just dissolve the Republican Party and start over. New party won’t allow any politicians to join. I don’t trust them.

I fear that Sanford is yet another indication that we as a nation are not doing enough to combat the problem of jackassery.

  1. Are we going to have to spend the next four years dragging Obama kicking and screaming to do the right thing in every crisis?

    yes

Can the nearest adult to the White House please takeover?

there are no adults near the White House to take it over

Re-thinking that we should just dissolve the Republican Party and start over. New party won’t allow any politicians to join. I don’t trust them.

yes, yes, yes, great idea. oh and will there be pie?

Is there still a Republican party? I haven’t seen a Republican speak out on anything in what seems like years.

  3. Speaking of Governers and corruption, I find it amazing that Sanford is all over the national news today, yet if you hop just one state north, you’ll find the North Carolina SBI is investigating our former Governor Easley for massive fraud. Yet I’ve not heard a breath of it on the national news. You’d think that, especially in a rotten economy, the fraudulent use of hundreds of thousands of dollars of public money for personal gain in one of the most corrupt governerships of NC’s history (and the ensuing criminal investigations) would be bigger news than infidelity at home. I just don’t understand…

Oh, wait; Easley’s a Democrat, Sanford’s a Republican. That explains it.

    Never mind.

  4. Are we going to have to spend the next four years dragging Obama kicking and screaming to do the right thing in every crisis?

yes, and even then he’ll somehow manage to eff it up

hey, we’re the ones with guns and large SUVs; why can’t won’t we just caravan to/meetup in DC, and do that now?

Re-thinking that we should just dissolve the Republican Party and start over. New party won’t allow any politicians to join. I don’t trust them.

Totally agree, but why can’t we just dissolve Congress altogether, both parties? They’re indistinguishable anyway. We can take care of that after we finish up at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

  5. The problem with “dissolving” the current Republican Party is that the dill weeds that are currently in-charge will have no where to go and will migrate to the new party! We will need strict entrance requirements and the ability to “RINO Stonings” on a regular basis. This will require a RINO court. One appearance before a true conservative, no appeals and immediate carrying out of sentence! Then a bill to the family for the stones!

  6. Governor Sanford has my sympathy, as I have been led to believe that he has been a fairly honorable man, up to this major failing.

How does that old punchline go? “Twenty years of sterling behavior, and one goat at the company party ruins everything.”
