Links of the Day. Part 1.

There may or may not be a Part 2. You never know.

Why so spurious?

Wonder why newspapers are going bankrupt? Go find out.

I don’t know what this means, but Frank says: Basically, use only 128 AES as it has less potential weaknesses than higher key AES.

And I’m pretty sure this poll means it’s over, and we won.

Netflix’s quickness has always kind of scared me. Now I know why.

Gratuitous self-linkage: I know some of you are dying to know my reaction to the the news about Paula Abdul. I’m in mourning.

  1. I have emailed EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THESE TO FLAG@WHITEHOUSE.GOV. That is because you are so negative about Obama, and he asked me to turn in any subversives like you.
PS-so far I have emailed at least 500items that are negative, or not, or just junk. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!
I have nothing better to do, and I jsut sit at my computer all day anyway, ferreting out subversives for Obama.

Don’t be sad. Why, if Paula were here, she’d tell you, “You are a bright and shiny star riding a unicorn. Keep living your dream and dreaming your live, and keep glowing and shooting sparks from your nose. Don’t ever let anyone tell you you can’t be everything you always wanted to be even if you can’t. And, when things get really tough, just take a back pill…that’s what I do.”

  3. I’m worried about Grover’s algorithm still. (Somebody would have to do a lot of reading, or at least scrolling to get that.) But last I heard there are viruses that attack Macs. But what do I know?

If not …… The Day, Links of This Particular Day would still be a cool idea.

  4. Cool roundup. The Netflix article was funny.

    machines that go ffft
machine that reads 30,000 bar codes an hour — ffft, ffft, ffft
    a machine called a Stuffer — which goes ssssht-click, ssssht-click
    a laser that goes zzzt

Very descriptive. Sounds like me in the bathroom.

By the way, don’t believe what that Frank dude tells you. He is crazy.

  5. Here’s the link of the day, I.M.A.O.
I don’t know who Doctor Zero is,
but I wish I could be a gooder writer like him, too.

Who We Are- “There seems to be a bit of confusion among Democrats about the nature of the opposition to their plans. Maybe I can help clear things up, by telling them a few things about us…”

…and boy , howdy, he sure does… read it here-

  6. That Netflix thing was awesome. A testament to American ingenuity. On Paula Abdul, I can’t wait to hear stories leaking out that she’s now criticizing anything and anyone who gets in her way. You know its coming, she’s been bottling it up for years, now. “I said I wanted WHEAT bread! ARRRRRGGHH, YOU CAN’T SING!!!!”
