Are there going to be any Democrats left in November? Just announced: Bart Stupak is retiring.
Of course, the Tea Party was really looking to get his scalp after his last minute betrayal on the health care bill, so there goes that fun. The Democrats really hate the Tea Party, and it’s pretty easy to see why. Polls of the group keep showing their demographics are the same as Democrats’ least favorite group of all: Americans. Plus, it’s looking like Democrats probably won’t do well in an election in America when Americans really really hate them. Either they’ll have to get non-Americans in here to vote or maybe move to another country and run for office there — which I think is the best solution for everyone.
Anyone, we at IMAO wish Stupak well and hope he enjoys his retirement. What’s the value of thirty pieces of silver without time to spend it?
I won’t be “that guy” and suggest he follow the next steps from the story too…just sayin…
This is awesome! At the rate they’re falling we won’t have to vote those Democrat bums out, or have our Secretary of War send his submersible dinosaurs after them. They’ll just retire and move to some other country. May I suggest Nepal? Then they can get jobs as pack animals for expeditions to Mt. Everest. And those Sherpas don’t take no crap, either. As soon as one of those “progresives” tries to start a pack animal union they’ll just toss his ass down some crevice in the ice. And we’ll be rid of all them damn jackasses.

Using the commerce clause to enforce health insurance mandates now means there is no serious constitutional constraints on congress. Congress now has the crowbar in the constitution after years of Republican indifference and Liberal hostility the battle is now over for the letter of the law and will be just battles for the ever degrading spirit of the law.
I’m pretty sure Stupak is just as much a coward and buffoon in his personal life as well. Sorry to hear his family is now being required to put up with his jackassery on a full-time basis. But, better them than the rest of the US.
I’m going to hate myself for saying this: It’s not a bad strategy. Stupak was likely in for a serious butt kicking. Now with a new fresh faced commie, democrats get an even shot. I hate it when that happens!
I dunno. This seems too easy. Watch for Stupak to reappear as an ambassador, lobbyist or corporate officer (like what Bawny is gunning for).
