Woo! Netflix on my Droid phone! Perfect timing because I’m taking my wife to a play tonight.

I am seeing Wicked with SarahK. All I know is it involves witches, so it’s probably another Harry Potter ripoff.

Verdict on Wicked: Pretty good, but I wish they’d quit it with all the singing and just move the plot along.

  1. Not that simple USSJC. Bringing a loaded Droid to the Theater, HETRO. Mocking the Theater, HETRO. Going under protest, HETRO. Liking what you saw at the Theater, GHEY. Frank did get me hooked on Twitter. SO I’M IN TOUCH WITH MY FEMINE SIDE. Ok, Ok its GHey

    The trick is to wear a hockey helmet. If you wear a hockey helmet people will never tell you to stop doing anything…even watch movies in a play.

  3. A “play with singing” : sounds more like a musical, to me. Considering that Frank hates art, I’m thinkin’ the play’s music didn’t wow him. I’m picturing Angry Birds with ear buds on.

  4. Yeahbut, Plenty, that doesn’t explain how Frank can be more than “minimally cultured” while living in Idaho (not to mention a potato farm town like Boise). And we all know that Frank is more than minimally cultured… ’cause he’s full of Acidophilus, which we all know contains the following organisms:

    * Lackofbraincillus acidobomas (O)
    * Lackofbraincillus carterans (C)
    * Lackofbraincillus delromney subsp. healthcariam( R)
    * Aquabacterium mensch (A)
    * Stripdukakis sanititus subsp. bankruptium

  5. Netflix has been on iPhones for a couple of years now. And it works on every iPhone, whereas it only works on a few droid phones, since it’s a fragmented market. Saw a story about the droid problems just the other day. Why people saddle themselves with wannabe iPhones shall always remain a mystery to me.

    [If you don’t understand the appeal of the Droid, that means you’re pretty dense. Why would you publicly announce that? -Ed.]

  6. So did you like the central message of Wicked, about how people that are different than us aren’t a threat and how the government uses those differences to fake us into totally hating each other and stuff? I thought it was such a wonderful message for 2004, or whatever year it came out. Especially how all the hatred was just being used to cover up dick cheney’s moral lapses.
