Gay Marriage Should Pull Out of Chicago

So an alderman (what the hell is that? Is it like a community organizer?) is blocking a business being built for not sharing his political views (even though it’s the same views Obama held six months ago), and Rahm Emanuel has come out in support of the alderman, saying that, “Chick-fil-A values are not Chicago values.”

Now, let’s think a second. What are Chicago values?

* Crime.
* Homicide.
* Street gangs.
* Disregard of 2nd Amendment rights of honest citizens to defend against crime, homicide, and street gangs.
* Corruption.
* Bribes.
* High taxes.
* Felon politicians.
* Cronyism.
* Disregard of 1st Amendment rights for anyone starting a business.
* Gay marriage.

So, does gay marriage really want to be associated with all those other things? If gay marriage wants good PR, it needs to announce, “There will be no gay marrying in Chicago. Gay marriage would like to distance itself from all Chicago stands for and wants it to be known it shares no association with any Chicago values.” Gay marriage can’t survive the taint of Chicago.

  1. For the first time ever, I have to agree with Rahm Emanuel. People and companies who adhere to the principles of the Bible, to whom morality and principles are important, have absolutely nothing in common with Chicago.

    You used “pull-out” and “taint” in the same article about gay marriage? I thought this was supposed to be a PG-13 site?

  3. Coming (heh) from Chicago, I can assure you what Hizzoner Da Mare meant by his statement was that Chick-Fil-A’s values of hard work building a business from scratch, providing a product that people want, at a fair price. Definitely NOT Chicago values.

  4. I’m pretty sure that in “gay marriage”, pulling out isn’t an issue.

    Isn’t opposing places that sell fried chicken racist?

    Maybe if Chick-fil-A agrees to accept food stamps, they’ll let them open.

    The borderline retarded mayor of Boston is the one who started this, he’s also a Catholic, a well known ‘anti-gay’ group. He also gave city land to Muslims to build a Mosque (separation of church and state was off that day) and we all know how much Muslims love gay people.
