Romney raised $100 million in June, and there is talk that Obama could be the first incumbent president to be outspent. I don’t know why that’s a big deal, though, because he gets lots of free coverage. Like with these job numbers that just came out, I hear his name mentioned constantly.
yeah…touring the country, talking up his plans to create American jobs….on a bus made in Canada. Except he’s not REALLY touring the country on that bus…the bus and all his campaign staff and those lovely Greek columns (ohes teh ironing!) are flown in on multiple military aircraft at taxpayer expense so he can ride on in a bus and look like “common folks”.
Maybe he should have saved some of his money from ’08 when he outspent McCain about 3:1 according to some sources.
There is no amount of money in the world that can compete with all the “free advertising” Obama receives through the main stream press. The Palace Guard will be hard at work burying anything detrimental to Obama as “unimportant” while smearing Romney in every way possible.
They are running scared and desperate. The new media made a huge impact in 2010 because many people have given up on the old media propaganda.

it’s a big deal because the sitting president always gets a lot of free coverage. this year is different largely because the post-citizens united world means that small donors are dwarfed by a relatively small number of wealthy donors contributing to superPACs.
Mr. J. Sir,
Cleanup on aisle four please?
Tim
The more free coverage this POTUS gets, the more I anticipate Romney will raise. Then Obama will come out and say he’s an underdog (oh wait – he already tried that).
You know what’s funny about this? Obama is the President of the United States. If he didn’t suck at his job, he shouldn’t have to raise that much money.
