Understanding the “Why” Makes Everything More Beautiful

It intrigues me that it’s the artist (and most likely a liberal) who has no interest in diving beneath the superficial externalities of appearance.

First time I ever heard Feynman say this, I looked at a tree and thought “fractal”.

    But statistically, their political leanings are aberrations in the art community.

    Anyway, do watch the video. It’s less about art than the appreciation of beauty.

  2. Fractal geometry is the foundation of my art.
    (Although when I first got started, I called it Fractiles, because I wasn’t sure how fractal was spelled.)
    You can ask FrankJ to show you 2 samples of my work I sent him last year as a sort of belated baby-shower gift/fan art – but which he never got around to posting to the site (even though he promised). 😉
