We Have to Adopt the ENTIRE British System

During an interview, Bill Gates said “some days I wish we had a system like the UK” to give Obama more power.

Fine. As long as the system includes a tower to lock him away in if he abuses it.

  1. Bill Gates learned how to build a compiler and an interpreter and then dropped-out of college.

If I needed any antique opinions from him on those subjects, I’d ask. Otherwise, I don’t ever care what he thinks about anything.

  2. Yeah, but their queen would still throw out a first pitch in a more manly fashion. I might pay to see those House of Commons style questions fired at him, if we had a few more cajone’d guys on our side. Imagine watching Michelle Bachmann making him cry and then McCain getting all pouty about it.

I can only assume he means a system where the legislature is superior to the judicial system, there is no written constitution or bill of rights, and where executive power isn’t actually wielded by the executive, strictly speaking.

On the other hand, he means a system where John Boehner, not Obama would be in charge.

Never mind, that’s really no better, I refer you back to my first few points.
