Maybe this is the whole problem with these people—their idea of a “treat” is rather the opposite of anything anywhere on earth has ever thought of as a “treat.” Obama was not born in Kenya or Hawaii; he was born on Bizarro World.

I’ve always wondered about the wisdom the Sanhedrin displayed when they decided they should put out a contract on Lazarus since he was a firsthand witness to Jesus’ Messiahship – can you imagine anyone LESS afraid for his life…

The problem is, what kind of health care program is that guy really promising to enact, and at what cost? The ultimate version of the plan is supposedly to abolish health care and just make everyone immortal, and how does that allow anyone the full experience of being dependent upon the government? What kind of government allows itself to be pushed out of the way of people’s daily lives like that? What’s the point of declaring yourself Intergalactic God Emperor if all you’re going to do is tell everyone to respect one another and take a day off once a week?
