The armed and regulated militia were the BLM and the local police force(s). “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” The free citizens (PEOPLE) exercising their natural right to keep and bear their OWN arms were the ones facing them down.
