  1. ODE TO ME

    All I want is what’s owed to me;
    Not biased by what I’ve earned:
    The cost of living is B.S. to me
    Based on what in college I’ve learned.

    I know that there’ll be a pot o’ gold
    At the end of your master’s reign, Bo;
    The media notes my righteous rage
    At my insufficcianabulous gain,bro.

  2. Walrus!

    First of all, being a politician isn’t worth anything.

    Secondly, they don’t do ‘work.’

    Interesting that many state legislatures started out by paying their elected representatives nothing.

    I’d like to go back to that, but also apply it to Congress. Combine that with no legal exceptions, no benefits, no lobbying and one term.

    Either that or reboot the country with a Constitutional Convention, a la Mark Levin’s notion.

  3. I had a friend who worked for min wage at McD’s in high school. He worked hard and before I graduated college he was the manager. Made a lot more than min. Remember they pay you what your work is worth.

  4. When I worked at near the minimum wage, I didn’t have time to attend protests. I was too busy working a 50 to 60 hour week. Then, I acquired skills that allowed me to no longer work for anything even close to the minimum wage.
