Also, there is nothing wrong with DDT.

  1. Let’s just kill all the ones that carry disease.

In the Bible, God gave mankind dominion over the earth. Couldn’t we do it?

If you believe in evolution, then man is just a natural predator that destroyed all the mosquitoes.

  2. We already killed all our bad mosquitoes using DDT, then rich white people living in places that don’t have mosquito diseases any more, told Africans and Asians that killing their own mosquitoes is evil. The Africans and Asians don’t have the willpower to use their own money to buy DDT and kill their own mosquitoes. They would rather die of itchy diseases. Sucks to be them.

  3. #3 – Professor Hale,
I’m glad I’m not the only one who caught that reference to DDT.
The same prigs who said in the 60’s that brown people all over the world can’t have effective malaria control because… birds! are now saying that brown people all over the world can’t have electric lights, clean water, air conditioning or a manufacturing economy because … climate change!
Some of these same prigs are on record speculating about the best ways to get the whole human population down to 500 million (no mention made of the 6.5 billion corpses that would have to be disposed of).
Such persons should not be entrusted with a burnt out kitchen match – why are they setting national and international policy?

  4. 4of7, it’s good to see you back.

How goes the art? (The mind-expanding masterpieces, I should say.)

Back on topic — ticks. Whatever function they may conceivably perform can be done by something else. Eradicate them. To the last tick.

  5. there is no actual scientific proof that DDT has ANY negative effect. It was mostly banned for political reasons and to this day millions of people get infected with mosquito-borne diseases for no good reason.
