I’ll just ask… have these guys never met someone who lives off the government? Cigarettes, booze, and TV really are all they think about. They’re not frustrated social climbers, they’re ambitionless bums.
This – like all socialist pipe dreams, is flat out a bad idea, and immoral to boot.
Every time I hear about this idea I always ask where is the money coming from? Without fail if the person leans even slightly left the answer is the government already has the money they just have to change where it gets spent.
When I ask the follow up question of where did the government get the money I usually get a blank stare.
They had me going for a bit . . . right up until “No inflation.” Then they just lost all credibility. Just come incoherent rambling and meaningless animation followed by, “Therefore, no inflation.”
