Other trivia: If an alien blows up your ship, you get 25 points. If you die when you pop out of hyperspace (using the hyperspace button randomly kills you about 10% of the time), you score nothing.

Also, once you hit 1,000,000 points, your score rolls back over to zero. The highest score you can get is 999,975. If you get this and have any ships left, you need die in hyperspace.

I never got a max score, but – back in the day – I knew a 14 year old kid who could basically do this in his sleep.
