I got a buddy we call Mad Max — he doesn’t frequent here, by the way; I wonder what that’s all about — that will occasionally send me something he’s written. He has a sense of humor, but he doesn’t write funny stuff. Not much. He’ll post comments on The Facebook, but that’s about as far as it goes.
Anyway, Mad Max sent me an essay he wrote about the presidency and the press. It’s a straight up commentary on what he sees as the situation and how it got here. I posted it over at my little blog. It’s a little too long and straight-laced to post here.
Feel free to leave your comments there, or here if you don’t like the commenting system over there.
The reason I suggest commenting over there is for a couple of reasons.
- It keeps the comments and the content together.
- This post right here is actually Tuesday Night Open Thread. I don’t pick the topic. You do. I may comment on something, but that’s not really to pick a topic. Rather, it’s to share what’s on my mind at the moment, and hope to encourage you to do the same.
So, who wants to start?
Here’s a little something I hope everyone can enjoy. I’m older than this guy and some of the stupid stuff I did at his age (he was 16 in 1971) is somewhat different, but for the most part I think the vast majority of us can equate to his story………….
I understand now. Space-time can be bent and time travel to the future is possible.
Click the link and read Mad Max.
But only if you want to read a good writer making an insightful point.
Albert Einstein was born March 14, 1879, in Ulm, Germany, which is in southern Germany, on the Danube River, or, as it is called in Germany, the Donau. In his honor, I may actually talk to one of my relatives today.
