Ronald Reagan’s political career is generally thought to have begun during his “A Time For Choosing” speech on October 27, 1964. He actually was involved in politics prior to that, of course, but that speech was extremely important for Reagan’s political career.

What Reagan said is as important today as it was 55 years ago.
For 55 years conservatives have called this THE SPEECH. With good reason. As your lead in suggests. Moderates and liberals call it “A Time ..” which is its proper title.
But as a D his career started 71 years ago when he elected a man “the experts” said would lose HST! Clinton is not the first time “our betters” have been wrong!
And this was the #1 reason some R were against Ronny in ’76.
