We have (or had) someone here who did this job. It came up in one of your “Icebreaker” questions.
My grade school had a 2 lane alley in the basement. I used to be a pin boy. I’d put the pins in the form and it would set them.
The most fun was when a bunch of drunk fathers were bowling.
We’d taunt them and they’d chuck the balls at us.
A good time was had by all.
If you are going to set something it should be trends.
Bowling:
Type a joke team name.
With a grease-pencil, keep score.
Overhead projector: the first public media.
And not censored by Google, Twitter, or Facebook.
I did that job back in high school in Miami at Don Carter’s Kendall Lanes the year after it opened (it is now long gone). It was my first real job.
