Marine Gen. Peter Pace recently said that he disapproved of allowing gays in the military because he thought homosexuality was immoral. If he had his way, what other changes would he make to the US Armed Forces?
10) Ban those gawdawful Black Bean & Rice Burrito MREs.
9) Change the female uniform to that miniskirt & leather boots combo they had on Star Trek.
8) Less talkin’, more killin’.
7) Recalibrate terribly inaccurate journalist targeting system.
6) Fix that annoying squeaky wheel on his desk chair.
5) Get rid of the big, flaming homos.
4) No small, sparking metros, either.
3) Iran = nuclear free-fire zone.
2) Improve diversity by raising recruitment quota for Spartans.
And the number 1 thing Gen. Pace would do to improve the military:
(see extended entry)
1) Two words: President Ermey.

Two words: President Ermey.
Oh, hell yeah!!! He’s got my vote!!!! Bu-rah!!!!
Is it time to crush General Pace in the political correctness mill, much as happened to Ann Coulter?
I don’t think so…
I’ll bet Fred Thompson wouldn’t disagree with him…
R. Lee for President!!!
Fred Thompson for VP!!!
Or vice versa…
I’d vote for R. Lee!
I just don’t understand (on a serious note) what is so wrong about the General saying he thinks homosexuality is immoral. If some gay guy got on tv and said that heterosexuals were immoral, the press would give the man a medal. I don’t personally care who you want to sleep with, but while you’re in the military, your mind should be focused on one thing only: your mission!
Ermy for President and Spartans in our military.
The most awesome idea ever.
In the article you linked from The Huff Post, Mr. Bouley suggests that if homosexuals were to leave certain areas or even the nation it would collapse economically and culturally. He counsels his “brethren” to effectively boycott all business, people, areas, etc. that do not lovingly affirm the wholesomeness of the “gay lifestyle.” He says that instead of continuing to beg others to accept their choices, they should just leave and go where they feel welcome.
I agree with him on that point.
He suggests that if the US doesn’t want to reward homosexual behavior then the US is immoral and will suffer greatly by the loss of all the homosexual folks. He mentions that Canada would be a better place.
I would honestly like to see him and his followers to test this theory. Will our entire civilization collapse because all of our “gay” friends forsake us? It does seem like a comedy act or an attempt at satire, but the most hilarious part is that he is serious.
Global Warming is not the real threat . . .
THE GAYS ARE LEAVING!! OH NO, we shall all perish now!!!
(just as a helpful thought, I think Amsterdam would certainly welcome you folks with open arms too, if the US doesn’t measure up to your version of morality)
Besides, “Gays” in the military is an imagined problem anyway.
I don’t believe in “gay” people. They don’t exist.
However, some people do gay things.
The military justice code does not punish someone for what he is, but only what he does.
Ermy for President and Spartans in our military.
Considering the content of the original post, that actually made me laugh out loud.
The Spartans would pretty much all be kicked out of the military under “Don’t ask, Don’t tell”.
They thought that the closer the soldiers were to each other the more esprit de corps so it was encouraged.
That’s why the line from “300” when one guy called Athenians “Boy lovers” or some such confused me. Perhaps it was the “Boy” part they disliked.
Yeah, but Spartans don’t prance around & lisp while they’re killing Persians, so it’s ok 🙂
The Black Bean and Rice Burrito was way better than the Pasta with Alfredo sauce. At least the burrito came with salsa. That crappy Alfredo sauce was horrid no matter how much hot sauce was added.
