I’ve kind of lost track.
Is MLB still going strong? Have any of their players disrespected the flag lately?
What about the NFL? Is that still a thing? Have any of their players disrespected the National Anthem within the last half hour? I know the NBA is owned by China, so it doesn’t count.
Soccer?
Are the Olympics starting soon? Or are they already over? Have any swimmers or volleyball players physically attacked the flag on an international stage?
I wish to know, so I can care. They’re very brave.
I don’t know about MLB/MLS/NFL, I quite paying attention to them long ago. However the Olympics are in full swing, with the athletes in single occupation, isolation village, with special one seat dining areas and special no intercourse beds. Many athletes of all nations have disrespected just about everything. Isreal is winning Judo because pro-palestine countries all forfeit. Gymnasts are wearing special outfits to protest the sexualization of the sport. Men pretending to be women are dominating women at weightlifting. Countries with all white populations are taking a knee for BLM. Oh, and the largest corporate sponsor, Toyota, is refusing to use the olympics in any of their ads, for fear of the optics of being associated with a “COVID Super SPreader TM” event. Really, I shouldn’t have told you, and you shouldn’t care. I kinda hope these olympics go down as a giant disgrace and money pit, never to be repeated.
Why watch athletes representing a country they hate?
I think the all time “special” moment in this Olympics is when the American fans cheered Sweden for beating the American Women’s Soccer team in their first game. It’s really sad when your own country is happy you lost. Perhaps they should all go play for Cuba (well maybe not, as they are agitating for freedom there) maybe North Korea then. After all why represent a country you hate, just so you can make millions in sponsorship ……………… Oh wait.
