Link of the Day

So I was chatting with Frank the other day, and he said, “Hey Harv, we need something that encourages reader participation. Go do that. I have to go stuff my mattress with the huge piles of gold doubloons the New York Post just sent me.”

Apparently Frank’s never seen that one episode of Family Guy.

Anyway, I found a link to get the feature started, but since I only have time to read 75% of the internet every day, if you find anything cool from the other 25% (which is clearly marked by pop-up ads that say “Harvey hasn’t read this yet”, so turn off your pop-up blocking software), send me a link at harvolson@gmail.com

If I use your link, you will receive High Praise! (assuming you remember to put your name in the email).

The 3 Little Pigs: 2012 – Think it’s just a quaint little children’s story about the importance of sensible building codes for livestock shelters?

Nope.

Apparrently in our enlightened modern times, it’s an excuse for the Occupy crowd to riot.

  1. The Idaho Republican Party has disenfranchised many for their voters. Those who work or go to school evenings have no vote. Unlike the normal primary process that allows you to just go vote and be done, to vote in this travesty of a caucus you must be able to stay for many hours. They opened at 4 and started voting at 7. Once they finish counting the votes, they then start round 2 and keep this up until they have the majority. That can take all night in large counties. This also disenfranchises the handicapped who can not sit around all night on those horrible hard chairs. I feel robbed that for the first time in over 30 years I am unable to vote for a candidate.

  2. To get participation, you need something like a political campaign. Frank J. for Preznit 2016! if we start now, we can get the national organization we need to challenge the Establishment. (And, if we start now, maybe people will stop laughing in time for the election.)
