  1. Corona, I’m not opposed to reading your reply. Just don’t see why you wasted your time.

Plentyo, yes, you got me. Because I have hobbies and interests and don’t spend 100% of my time on politics, I obviously don’t care. Well said.

DamnCat, that’s why I watch it. So you don’t have to!

Marco, haha. No, and this year’s Indian guy with the unfortunate sometimes-mustache is no longer on either.

  2. I don’t normally watch Idol, but now you’re making me curious. It’s kinda like being on a hike and catching whiff of some really bad smell. A smart person keeps on going. A less smart one says “What is that? Gack!” and looks for the source, which is usually a bloated carcass down by the creek. Guess which one am I?

With all that said, there’s now no way for me to go about my day without figuring out what everybody’s talking about. Now I just have to click over to SRM to see if there’s a vid or something that’ll put my curiosity to rest.

  3. Interesting that each year we get new surprisingly good singers from “Britain’s Got Talent” and another room full of mediocre wanna-be’s from “American Idol”. England’s about the size of New Jersey, and not known for being a magnet for talented hopefuls, yet here in America when the same people hold auditions for hundreds of thousands of people they manage to “weed out” anyone who might actually be amazing and present yet another group of very average singers who look strikingly similar to a cast from “MTV’s Real World” each season.
