Five robbers with firearms versus a former Marine with a pocket knife. Guess who wins?
The sad thing was the one robber killed in the attack was a woman who was two-weeks pregnant (it was clear self-defense, but still). There are all these warning for pregnant women such as don’t smoke and don’t drink. I guess “don’t mug people” should be added to the list now.
UPDATE: New reports say she wasn’t pregnant. And the story is acutally linked to on CNN’s frontpage (acutally, I saw it there first and figured Blackfive would have commentary).
Turns out that the woman was NOT pregnant. Marine with pocketknife against FIVE goblins with a shotgun and pistol. Buy that man a good .45!!
Come on, though, this wasn’t even a fair fight. That Marine had those five robbers totally outnumbered.
Now if there’d been TEN robbers, with machine guns, and the Marine was unarmed, THAT’D be closer to a fair fight.
Was this Marine named Buck, perchance?
I have no sympathy for the little porch whore from Hee Haw who died. And the fact that she may or may not have been impregnated by her brother/uncle doesn’t matter either. The Marine did society a favor by keeping this tart from spawning future jailbirds. Does that make me a bad person?
Was CNN’s headline along the lines of “Marine Kills Woman During Mugging” or some other formulation that leads the reader to infer that the Marine went on a rampage?
