I’ve never even heard of Ted Haggard.
Thought you were supposed to be informed Frank? Everyone knows Bush has close ties to crazy evangelical preachers. Bush is much more of a religious nut than he is a traditional conservative Republican. Bush is really not a conservative Republican at all but everyone on IMAO already knows that because they have seen Bush make the government really, really, really big, generate a super massive deficit, happily hand over our Ports to Arab countries, let millions of illegal immigrants into our country without bothering to secure the border and sell out to big multi-national businesses while letting small businessses suffer. Freaky Pastor Ted had weekly phone meetings with Bush or the Bush admin. Pastor Ted, who talks to President George W. Bush or his advisers every Monday, is a handsome forty-eight-year-old Indianan, most comfortable in denim. He likes to say that his only disagreement with the President is automotive; Bush drives a Ford pickup, whereas Pastor Ted loves his Chevy. In addition to New Life, Pastor Ted presides over the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE), whose 45,000 churches and 30 million believers make up the nation’s most powerful religious lobbying group, and also over a smaller network of his own creation, the Association of Life-Giving Churches, 300 or so congregations modeled on New Life’s “free market” approach to the divine.
Bush or a Bush spokesperson will probably lie soon and deny much contact with Pastor Ted soon on our tv sets. Because that’s what lying fake cowboy morons do best.
Sarc,
Why would they deny knowing the man? I’m sure they knew nothing of his ickyness. I doubt he did much bragging about all the times he buggered Fred Garvin while smoking crack (interesting double meaning there) when he attended his super secret meetings with Dubya.
And, I find nothing wrong with the Bush Administration distancing itself from the matter, which can be done with total honesty and promptness.
Try again.
BTW, on the Mike Rosen show this morning here in Colorado, I heard the accuser (Fred Garvin?) failed a polygraph test, so at least part of the story is likey bogus. We’ll learn more I’m sure.
Thought you were supposed to be informed Frank?
Not to disagree with your well-researched, well-thought out sarcasm, but could you at least take a minute and see who wrote the post?
Thanks for visiting.
D’oh. Were you commenting to Frank on the first line or to me about the post?
Anyway.
Still applies. Tell your friends. GOP loses evangelical leader. GOP going down. Or least it is according to the gay prostitute.

I was replying to Frank for not knowing Pastor Ted.
OK. I’ll tell them. Thanks RightWingDuck.

“Also, I thought Madonna was going to adopt Obama?”
LOL!
Just about died from Pepsi and part of a ham sandwich! The dog looked like he was ready to call 911. Thankfully, I stopped choking and didn’t have to rely of my dogs limited cognitive powers. Now all I have to do is dislodge the rest of the ham sandwich from my nose.
I am John Kerry and I am reporting for duty! Hey all you faggot queer evangelicals–so did you hear the one about the queer pastor and the President? Muwaahaha!!! You right wing dick-wads are all either queers or dumb-ass military types. Too bad you aren’t rich, good looking, cool and a Democrat like me, Bitches!
If only evangelical ministers could marry, then they wouldn’t have to turn to male prostitutes! Oh wait, never mind.
But seriously, I don’t think it’s exactly clear what Haggard has done, although he apparently has admitted to doing “something,” which is why he is stepping down from his leadership position.
Now, if he were a Democrat, he would deny, deny, deny, and when faced with irrefutable evidence he would say, “So what? Who are you to judge me? The only way I’m leaving is in a box!” And you know what? That would be just fine with the Democrats.
Along the same lines… http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/11/03/runway.safety.ap/index.html
CNN ran an AP article on a FAA report about runway lengths and having the extra room needed for mistakes when landing. It was done after the accident where the plane ran off the runway and killed the kid in the car in Chicago. Basically it said that half the runways are too short but the FAA will have the ready by 2015 when mandated by law. Somehow in all that, they managed to get in this as the third paragraph:
“Our runways are out of shape, and the Bush administration has failed to move to correct the problem,” Sen. Frank Lautenberg, a New Jersey Democrat, said Thursday. “If we don’t get serious about runway problems, the result could be disastrous.”
There are lots of other spin issues with the article too.

I wouldn’t believe everything that I read in Harper’s, Sarcasm Man.

Ducky,
I laughed. I did.
I laughed too. Especially at the Madonna remark.

Why did Bush shorten all the runways after he stole the election in 2000?
Probably for the same reason he made all that Global Warming.
Hall of fame worthy parody RWD, this site just keeps getting better and ummmmmm more better.
Fred Garvin was a Dan Akroyd character on SNL;
Fred Garvin
I wouldn’t call it as much unfair as hypocritical. Meth and homosexual prostitutes? Sounds like an average office party at ABC headquarters.
Well of COURSE it’s Bush’s fault. EVERYTHING is Bush’s fault. Didn’t you guys get the memo?
A guy sucks one c____, and he’s a c____-sucker the rest of his life! Geez!
He can always use the Clinton defense, “it wasn’t sex because I didn’t enjoy it”. Wait, he’s not a Democrat, won’t work.
Bush is a HERETIC!
Seriously, he’s a Methodist. What’s he doing cavorting with them Evangelical types?
(sarc off)
