Friday Catblogging

Since it’s Friday, I thought I’d spread the joy of humor-free, apolitical Friday Catblogging to IMAO (aka “I-MEOW”).
Florida whomped the crap out of Ohio State, yeah, we know. Still, why did they have a blimp flying around for exterior shots around a dome? A dome? That makes as much sense as… catblogging.
Anyway, it’s time for Nardo the Silly:

If you’re not sure how this absurd scene pertains to IMAO, since IMAO is famous for that “political humor” thing, it doesn’t. If you must have some semblance of politics or humor in everything you read here, just assume that Nardo is… um…
Help me out here. Make your suggestions in the comments how this scene is, in fact, a political allegory.

You can find more examples of Friday catblogging by searching a blog search engine such as Technorati for “catblogging.”
You can also find a roundup of catblogging posts at The Friday Ark, located at The Modulator blog.
Then, when the weekend is nearly over, head over to The Carnival of the Cats for more kitty goodness.
There’s also Flickr Groups called Furry Friday and Friday Catblogging.
Anybody I miss?

WHAT REALLY HAPPENED
Nardo had a nasty abscess and the vet cleaned it up.
He’s not supposed to lick the spot while the antibiotics kill off all the bugs, so he’s got a flexible collar on.
He’s adjusted to it, although he still keeps leaping and air-balling the couch because his paws get stuck under the thing.

  1. “Some night while they are asleep, I’m going to take this stupid cone and shove it in a place where the sun don’t shine.” Nardo the cat.
On a less serious note. We had our Golden fixed and he would not leave the stitches alone so we had to fit him with a collar. What a painful experience for us all. He didn’t let the collar impede him in any way. Full speed ahead, no matter who or what was in the way.
The funniest thing to us was that he learned how to scratch his incision with the edge of the collar, thus defeating the original purpose all together.
Sometimes it’s better to have a stupid dog.
