  1. Sarah Palin won – but she was WAY to nice doing it. If she had the Federal history tracking of IMAO readers, should would have absolutely clobbered they guy so badly it would have looked like a slaughter. Then she would have been blamed for being ‘merciless.’

I like voting for merciless. I say giver her time. Give her power and watch her invent guillotines for liars.

  2. If you are going to be that vp of the pro-war party you really ought to know who the general is in Afghanistan and that they do not support a surge there. Palin dodged questions several times and made mistakes. She read directly from the talking points on several answers. I was never going to vote for her but I think her base will be happy for the most part. Rallying the base won’t be enough for a GOP win especially with McCain already giving up on Michigan and expected to give up on Pennsylvania next week.

  3. Sauron incoherently spam-botted, “I think Romney will be her for the 2012 nomination.”

Orly? Gov. Romney will be Palin in 2012? I like Mr. Romney, but that’s reaching across the way aisle too far.

  4. Palin kept talking about greedy Wall Street so I’m not sure how that is going to play with the business people. Hope they already have them locked away anyway. She did good but I’m worried she let too many of Biden’s attacks on McCain stand. You need to slam him down whenever he says that bull crap of his about McCain and a lot of times she simply did nothing. She may have a been a little nervous which is understandable. It probably would have helped if they had let her do a lot more interviews and stuff and built her confidence instead of restricting her. I think it was a draw and that’s probably just because I disagree with Biden’s crazy liberal nonsense.

Wheee! I like to play make-believe, to!

Are there pretty white Unicorn ponies in your world?

  6. Clearly this was a victory for Sarah. Anyone who claims differently is a Communist shill. She spoke to us directly, and did it with that down-home flavor and “America First” mentality that we love so much.

Obama is a Communist and a Muslim sympathizer. Biden is his “experienced” apologist. Go ahead and arrest me if you can. I live in Alabama. We don’t like Commie Missouri sheriff political pansies.

That taste in your mouth? It’s the stinging lemony savour of having your teeth knocked out by what America stands for, hippies. Enjoy.

  7. These trolls are so stupid I can’t read their whole comment. You know? Like skip over the garbage as soon as you recognize it.

Hey, Obama trolls! You’re losing. You FAIL. Your candidate has flip-flopped on EVERYTHING. You don’t even know what he stands for.

Where are the Democrats? I don’t see any. All I see is community organizing college kids paid from the Obama campaign to troll websites and interject nonsense.

  8. Didn’t Biden say something to the effect that the generals in Afghanistan didn’t think a surge would work there, but they wanted more troops and equipment to be sent there?

I guess I’ve been misinformed as to what a surge actually is.

  9. Incidentally, the debate had a whole different feel when the theme from Top Gun plays whenever someone says “Maverick.”

I was hoping someone to say “Iceman”, just to throw everyone else off.

  10. No question, Palin won, hands down. If she just called Biden on his lies, she would have put him down for the count. Now if only McCain would lay into Obama like he should instead of trying to act like everyone’s grandpa (he’s no Ronald Reagan…that image doesn’t work for him), this election would be over.

  11. Poliferous,

    Your point?

She said that both of them claimed that Iraq was the central part of the war. Obviously if the head of the terrorist group waging the war and the head of the group fighting them both state that it’s the key to the war…Obama and Biden must be wrong again.

  12. LOL -> Sixty per cent of those polled in total said Palin did not have the experience to be president, up from 45 per cent in a similar survey a month ago, the Washington Post/ABC News poll said.

She said that both of them claimed that Iraq was the central part of the war. Obviously if the head of the terrorist group waging the war and the head of the group fighting them both state that it’s the key to the war…Obama and Biden must be wrong again.

The terrorists were never in Iraq and Iraq is not the central front in the war on terror. Why would any vote for someone who says the believe the al-Qaeda leader. The war is only supported by like 30% of Americans and you already have those voters. All this talk about Iraq today WE ONLY GO TO HELP THE CRUSHING DEFEAT YOU WILL FEEL AT THE HANDS OF OBAMA IN NOVEMBER. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA. You will be humiliated and your precious Palin will never ever become a leader.

  13. Yep, that’s right. An organization called “al Qaeda In Iraq” probably never spent any time in Iraq. They were most likely in Afghanistan…because Obama is NEVER wrong, even when he’s entirely wrong. But, it would be interesting to wonder what they would have called a group in Iraq if they did have one.

  14. What #17 Eros said. As soon as McCain goes into fireball mode we can get this whole shebang over and done with.

And notice how Palin always spoke directly to the camera, always looking America in the eyes without flinching. SlowJoe rarely took his beady eyes off his already ally, the mod. Never trust anyone that can’t look you in the eyes. Nice touch his voice crack though, going for that sympathy vote…which is what ya do when you’re outta game.

Palin was hopeful and positive and tough (coulda been tougher), but Biden was tired and boring and LIED, so she wins hands down.

And Fred! was awesome in his comments on FNC right after.

  15. Hahahahahaahaha, Joe Biden was pimped played layed low and slayed. I wonder if Charles Krauthammer took off points for the outright lies Joe Biden made up as he yapped along during this debate. I mean they had Sarah Palins grave already for her. she stepped up and kicked the sand in the face of digusting filth that is the left wing media.

This must be driving the moonbats over the edge, do not dispair though as Obama has some kool-aid for you to drink!!!

  16. Biden might as well flense himself repeatedly with a spork and take a dip in Tabasco sauce and it wouldn’t hurt much less than the fact-check pwnage he’s getting tonight.

8 out of 10 to both of them for style and presentation, minus 30 to Biden for being so sparing in the use of facts.

  17. GOVERNOR PALIN is ‘real’, and Americans could feel it and connect with it. Palin is running for V.P … but, let’s take a look at the qualifications, judgement, and experience of Obama, who is running for President. Obama had 25 years to fulfill the potential he displayed as a rising start at Harvard Law School … and, how did he live up to that potential? He chose to align himself with anti-American racist, Jeremiah Wright for TWENTY YEARS … along with Ferrahkan, Rezko, Ayers, and others. As a community organizer, he registered thousands of voters in Chicago … then, when he ran for the state legislature, he took away their votes, by disqualifying his opponent (a black woman) on a technicality. As a U.S. Senator, he voted present 160 times … he never called a meeting on the Afghanistan committee he chaired (although he NOW says we must shift all our military from Iraq to Afghanistan). He claimed Foreign Policy experience from a 9 day whirlwind photo op to 6 countries. And, he spent almost half of his tenure neglecting his responsibilities as a U.S. Senator, so he could run for President. Senator McCain served America honorably for 22 years in the military. He proved his love for America, as well as his honor, integrity and character, by refusing early release as a P.O.W., even while being tortured. He served America as a ‘contributing’ U.S. Senator, working across the aisle, for 20 years. Governor Palin will learn the details of the current national and international issues … but, what Obama never learned is Character. He can’t be trusted … ask Jeremiah Wright, a friend of 20 years, who Obama betrayed for personl ambition. The American people can recognize ‘real’ character and integrity in McCain and Palin, and that’s why she won the debate by 87% on the FOX text messaging poll.
