To the One from whom all blessings flow
From the unworthy ones living here below
For the Light You’ve given to show Your Way
For the friends who’ve graced us day by day
For the ones who blazed the paths we tread
For the ones whose blood was, for freedom, shed
For the ones You’ve given us for neighbors
For uncountable times You’ve granted favor
May we seek You more each passing hour
And tremble at Your might and power
Lest we forget our humble station
You bless America, we bless You — Your nation

Thank you to God who has given all me all that I have,
Thank you to my family who are all that I need,
Thank you to my friends (here and abroad) who are all that I want,
Thank you for those who provide the examples I chose to avoid,
and finally THANK YOU to those who have given the last measure of devotion and those who love them.
There is nothing I can say that will explain the depth of my gratitude to you. You make my life possible.
God bless us, everyone.
Thanks for Palin.
Thanks for talk radio which backed Palin and said she was great.
Thanks for blogs like IMAO which backed Palin and said she was wondrous.
Thanks to you losers.
You helped Obama win.
You helped abortion remain legal.
You helped embryonic stem cell research happen.
You helped our cause to stop global warming.
You helped liberals win.
[Thanks for the traffic and for showing us the opposite of graciousness in victory, Ed.]
Thanks for Rock and Roll.
especially Slayer
Thank you my government For spreading my wealth And for leaving me these giblets There was nothing on the shelf And though I stood in line Begging for your pork At least you were kind enough To hand out plastic sporks I know with all the bailouts You forgot little old me But did you have to tax my pot Every time I pee …………… arrggghhh, I can’t do that on a great day like this, Happy Thanksgiving everybody.
Thanks to IMAO for making good times better and bad times more bearable.
Thanks to trolls for constantly reminding me that liberalism is the suicide cult of the crack babies going through the terrible twos who could never pass a logic class, let alone rub two facts together.
Off to the family! See ya later!
Thank GOD for all our rich blessings and remember even through the darkest times(the next 4 years) that GOD is in controll, its all part of a bigger plan
GOD bless all ,Brad
Happy Thanksgiving to all. IMAO is one of the things for which I’m thankful. That applies to the contributors and to the commenters, as well. I can count on all of you for a good laugh, and for sharing my love of this wonderful country. Thanks, fellas and gals.
Holiday Prayer to Mecca:
Thank you for Obama, Hillary and Bill
Thank you for Ayers and his bombing that is still
Thank you for Reverened Wright who never could be wrong
Thank you for Liberals give them wisdom from their bong
Thank you for hope and America that is changed
Thank you for leaders that are permanently deranged
for what it’s worth, I thought that was a great poem. 🙂 too bad, nothing gold can stay…
Sorry for the above post. That was my evil twin. I would like to make amends
Dear Lord in heaven we honor you this day
And ask for your compasion to show us each our way
We give you thanks for all your gifts and the brotherhood we share
You have given us our country and responsibility to bear
That to whom much is given much is required in return
Please help us God in heaven to deserve your love and learn
That we can all be leaders and serve what you’ve ordained
Through faith and trust and love for you our nation is maintained
I second everyone’s (serious) thoughts, especially Seanmahair (you always say things so well!)
It’s always comforting to come here and find like minded people as well as have a good laugh!
God Bless you all and have Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks for posting such a relevant poem, it will be on my mind the rest of the day (in a good way).
Even though things have been looking very bad politically, there is still hope. And even when there isnt any, it will pop up when we least expect it.
God bless all, have a great thanksgiving!

Psalm 9:1-2
I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart;
I will tell of all thy wonderful deeds.
I will be glad and exult in thee,
I will sing praise to thy name, O Most High.
Happy Thanksgiving!
(Only 28 more shopping days ’till Christmas!)
That is a beautiful prayer, thank you.
here’s a haiku back at you.
Happy Thanksgiving Day.
~
Thanks, God, for you send
Light into a fallen world
And endless mercy.

Thank you, Lord, for knowing that in the end, You will triumph, and we will see Mohammed the False Prophet cast into everlasting fire to be forever tormented by his followers.
Wow, that rhymes. It’s like a poem or somethin’.
Ur yellow faces look stupid and gay.
Shouldn’t you be pro-homosexuality, instead of using it as an insult?
Aww… that was a sweet poem, Spacemonkey. If I actually had emotions, that woulda brought a tear to my eye.
I’m sorry to say, reading this a couple days after Thanksgiving, that I thought this was the Obama followers’ theme song, written to the One Himself. If you had Hollywood B-list celebs quoting this in front of a white backdrop, while groovy music played in the background, you could really have created a nice commercial for him.
What a sad life you must have. I truly feel sorry for you. I hope God blesses you with all that you deserve.
Well maybe not all you deserve but at least a percentage of the joy you’ve brought to others.
Hmmm – not sure why this poem would make seanmahair think this person has a sad life? Help me out – was I to assume that for this poem was about “the one obama”?
Even then, feel sorry?
I guess it was too much to think that for the Thanksgiving time this was actually a poem giving Thanks?
I don’t consider Obama to be ‘the One’, he’s more like ‘the zero’ to me.
And I’m pretty sure seanmahair was responding to the commenter that said they thought I was writing an Obama theme song.
Wow Monkey, I go away for a few days and you post something….. moving (?)! Good Job!
BTW
#2… no, thank YOU! As much as we abhor the termination of young lives unfulfilled, the thought that 80-90% of them were little potential liberal voters makes the pain almost bearable. Just keep moving forward and you can move closer to self extinction.
I do hope everyone had a bountiful Thanksgiving surrounded by good food, good friends and family, and lots of laughter.
“The ultimate test of man’s conscience may be his willingness to sacrifice something today for future generations whose words of thanks will not be heard.” (G. Nelson)
Blessings to all of you (with a shake of the head to the trolls), and especially those in uniform for whom the above quote fits to perfection.
