CNN – Dumb or Just Stupid?

Don’t know how long this link will stay posted, so look fast.

At the bottom of an article on Obama not holding a National Day of Prayer Event (he’s just issuing a proclamation) you can click on the “From the Blogs” link and a box drops down, ostensibly showing “Blogs talking about this topic”.

Only problem is that, of the three blog articles shown (one of which is mine), NONE of them actually talk about the article in question.

How do you suppose they pick which pieces to link?

  1. So, if he will be all about a Nation Day of Prayer, will it be gathering around the Asherah poles? A bit of a corruption of See You At The Pole days from my High School Years.

  2. I don’t think Bama’s praying to YHWH or the mood god of Arabia. It seems more likely that he’s praying to the entity Saul Alinsky dedicated his instruction manual for the mentally challenged to:

Lucifer. (seriously, he did that. you might be hard pressed to find an older copy with the dedication in there. Lucifer, as the dedication goes, was the “first radical”.

Besides, how else could Oreobama have gotten this far after doing so little? See, liberals aren’t born soulless; they get that way through bad sales deals.

  3. Of course he is avoiding the National Prayer Day – the only clergymen he knows are Rev. Wright, Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton.

Hell, I’d skip Christmas to avoid seeing those a-holes.

  4. I’m going to go with CNN is both dumb and stupid, in addition to being commies. It makes me laugh though to see on the CNN website “CNN – dumb or just stupid”. I wonder how many people have seen and noticed that.

  5. AR – Thought about a screen cap, then decided not to bother because I couldn’t get the links on the same page as the CNN header. In retrospect, I should’ve at least capped the links part of the page.

  6. Oops, I didn’t look at the byline. Sorry Harvey. Also it’s still there. Also, I took screen-caps myself. I had to take a couple to get the whole thing, and probably won’t bother editing them together unless someone really wants it.

  7. You really didn’t expect them to find blogs (like mine) that actually talked about it did you. Then there are the more popular blogs like Ms. Malkin who were all over this, but they are so very hard to find. It’s not like there is a link to her blog from say……….the Drudge Report, or anything.

College edjamakation, it’s what makes ’em so dang smart.

  8. CNN?
    Is that thing STILL around?

GOSH, I CAN’T IMAGINE WHY HE WOULDN’T WANT TO HANG OUT WITH THESE PEOPLE CNN reports: Obama tones down National Day of Prayer observance For the past eight years, the White House recognized the National Day of Prayer with a service in the East Room, but this year, President Obama decided against holding a public ceremony. … representative…

Smart man .I like that Obama is separating religion and politics without alienating anyone. He understands-on both an emotional and intellectual level. Regarding the National Day of Prayer, Although there are no public events scheduled at the White House, representatives from the legislative and judicial branches are expected to attend an even…

  9. Dang had to preach and didn’t get to weigh in last night. The Antichrist is prophesied in Danie.l It is the abomination that causes desecration and forbids the sacrifice in the temple. He had to start small and work his way up.

  10. I think we can all agree, CNN is dumb and stupid.

But they do prove one thing, you can make more people laugh if you’re not trying to make them laugh.

The proof? FrnakJ is funny on purpose and his audience is much smaller than CNN’s.

  11. Obama simply feels we’ve already had several National Days of Prayer. There was his speech at Mt. Olympus during the convention, when thousands gathered to pray to him. There was election day, when the media all prayed on-air to him. Then there was the inauguration day of prayer, when thousands gathered in tearful prayer to The One.

Obama is a modest god, and he is willing to limit the amount of days each year that he asks the peasants to pray to him.

    PS: Nice Stargate reference MarkoMancuso.
